I am usually not interested in reviewing Pens. The Inka Pen is different. It's high quality and versatility promises convinced me to take a closer look. I am a typical Pen loosing human. I recently bought me a box of 50 Bic Pens to be able to loose more pens faster. I have carried the Inka Pen on my keys now the last week and I started to get attached to it.
Overview The Inka Pen comes in two variations: The stainless steel model selling for $25 and the Titanium Pen selling for $89.95. I received the stainless steel Inka pen for testing. The pen features a pressurized ink cartridge to be able to write in any angle, altitude and temperature. The barrel is made from stainless steel (aerospace titanium in the more expensive model). The pen itself is carbon fiber making it extremely sturdy.
The pen is quickly accessible by pulling it out of the barrel. For longer writing the pen can be converted into a full sized one by screwing the barrel to the pen. As an additional benefit the Inka Pen is also a stylus for touch screens.
Performance Writing really works in any angle. I have not climbed the Mount Everest to test how the pen writes at high altitudes. The pen writes fine when it is wet as well. What else to test on a pen?
Conclusion Inka delivers a pen manufactured in high quality. It’s lightweight and sturdy design makes it convenient to carry around at all times. It will definitely stay on my keychain.
