Inka Pens
Before founding Inka in 2004, Greg Adelman designed equipment for de-activating explosive mines for the military. Before that, he developed and deployed undersea instruments, and, on one expedition, the seed for Inka was planted. "On the ship, I never had a pen or had a pen that could write," he said. A decade later, he designed a small heavy-duty pen "designed to go and write anywhere," even upside-down or under water. The original stainless steel and carbon fiber Inka was joined by a premium titanium counterpart in February. "We really overbuild the pen," said Adelman, citing a customer in Kazakhstan who used one when it was 50 degrees below zero outside. "The customer feedback has been incredible." |
